In 2021, after seeing COVID-19’s devastating impacts on Việt Nam, we set up a month-long fundraiser called Đùm Bọc to support organizations working in some of the most affected areas of the country. Đùm Bọc eventually blossomed into a collective of Vietnamese creatives, raising funds for organizations based in both the U.S. and Việt Nam during the past three years. In the summer of 2022, Vân Vân came to life with a foundation rooted in Vietnamese home cooking, history, and culture.
